The Master Gardener Association of York County is a non-profit,
all-volunteer service organization, dedicated to maintaining the
interest of certified Master Gardeners located in York, Chester,
Lancaster, and surrounding Counties in South Carolina, and   
fostering a greater degree of volunteer participation as Master
Gardeners.

We encourage the development and implementation of programs
that will continue to expand knowledge of effective gardening, and
urge the employment of all resources such as the Department of
Agriculture and Clemson University Extension Service for better
gardening skills. We work to encourage more interests in gardening
by all citizens and advance local environmental beautification and
preservation.
