One of the opportunities to earn volunteer hours is working the Extension Service Help Desk for several hours per day. When a person calls about problems or needs information for maintaining their gardens or lawns, the call is forwarded to the Master Gardener Help Desk. The volunteers log the name, telephone number and question. The volunteer may need to research the question and call back with the answer. The caller is also referred to the Clemson University Home and Garden Center Website. Sample questions are below- |
